Project Profile
John Holland as part of the Bluewater Consortium was awarded the contract for the Sydney Desalination Plant at Kurnell in New South Wales by the State Government. The consortium was chosen to design, build, operate and maintain the plant for 20 years. Other members of the Bluewater Consortium included Sinclair Knight Merz, Maunsell and Veolia Water. As part of the contract, the consortium built a desalination plant capable of producing 250 million litres of water a day.
